Maternity Checklist
1) Breast pump
Breast milk is the best milk for the baby. Get one electrical pump to express out your breast milk a few times a day. It helps to stimulate and produce more milk. I love the brand - Medela. Recommended by my sister & friends. There are a few types, but basically will be manual or electrical pump.

If you are as lazy as me, get the electrical one, it's so much easier.
Just switch on the button and be a happy COW. Moo~
2) Breast pads
You will definitely need these if you breastfeed. You don't want people to see your wet shirt as the milk will leak out by itself.
I prefer disposable breast pads. Easier to maintain and more hygienic too.
Use & throw, another happy cow's life. Moo moo~
3) Breastfeeding/Nursing Bra
Good to have proper breastfeeding/nursing bra when you plan to go out or have visitors at home. Easier to breastfeed directly.

4) Breastfeeding/Nursing Clothes
Same as the bra, you will need such clothes to go out. It will be difficult to breastfeed with normal clothing. Unless you don't mind exposing your beautiful breasts to the public.
Just flip and the baby can latch on.
Watch out for those creepy uncles or hidden cameras out there!
5) Nipple cream
Yes, your nipples will be in PAIN or CRACK after expressing or direct feeding few times a day. Getting a good nipple cream can really stop the pain.
I used Earth Mama Angel Baby Natural Nipple Butter. It is a luscious plant-based balm made with organic oils, healing plant butters and botanicals. It helps moisturize and protect nipples from becoming sore and cracked. Safe for both baby and mother. No need to wash nipples before nursing. Reapply after reach feeding. Lanolin-free, Cruelty-free, Toxin-free, Certified vegan.
I learnt that Bepanthen ointment, the one that is used for baby's nappy rash is also quite good as a nipple cream too. Safe for baby and it's free from colorant, fragrance & preservative.
5) Breast Milk Storage Kit
If you have lots of milk & your baby can't drink that much, you will need a breast milk storage kit. Feels like a milk cow? Yes. I feel the same too. Moo~
You can either choose the storage bags or, if you can afford, get the storage bottles.
thanks sharing those info!! =p
